Definition of Synergy:  syn·er·gy [sínn rjee ] (plural syn·er·gies) noun Also called synergism.

1.  combined effort being greater than parts:  the working together of two or more things, people, or organizations, especially when the result is greater than the sum of their individual effects or capabilities

“Synergy: Developing Leaders for the Harvest,” is a training process which incorporates mentoring, individual study, and ministry team experience.  The focus of the training is on the development of character, knowledge, and ministry skill, in each individual, preparing them for a life of vital and effective service to the Lord Jesus.

The goal of Synergy is that each “co-worker” would be equipped in such a way that they, with the other co-workers, would be all that God has created them to be, and would do all that God has created them to do. 

Synergy is built on the team concept of ministry, and has as its foundation the Relational-based church.  We cannot serve the Lord alone.  We walk together as His Body – as His expression on this earth, joining the Lord in fulfilling the Great Commission through the facilitation of church planting movements.

"All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age " (Matt 28:18-20 NASB).  See "Following After Jesus: The Great Commission" article.

 Definition of Church Planting Movements: A Church Planting Movement is a rapid and multiplicative increase of indigenous churches planting churches within a given people group or population segment.  

Synergy Training:  Synergy Training has been developed to train a co-worker in the areas of basic discipleship, evangelism, the church life, and ministry.  The training has been designed to develop a co-worker in the areas of character, knowledge, and ministry skill, being lived out in the midst of a Christian Community and with the assistance of a mentor.  Each co-worker will move through a customized training process, based on pre-training self-assessment tools.  With the assistance of the mentor and other equippers, the co-worker will participate in individual learning, ministry experience, and team participation.

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth”(2Tim 2:15 NASB)

“But you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, perseverance…  You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned [them]; and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings, which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus.  All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.  (2Tim 3:10, 14-17 NASB)

The House Church:  The Relational-based church is the foundation of Synergy training.  It is also the New Testament pattern for the local church.  Articles related to the house church are included to inform, equip, and encourage those who are walking in New Testament Church life, and to assist those who might be interested in investigating the house church as the foundation of a Church Planting Movement.

Harvest Community:  For those who are participating in Synergy Training, and for those who may participate in the future, The Harvest Community is the environment in which Synergy was developed.  As a house church network, The Harvest Community is committed to joining the Lord in a Church Planting Movement.  Information related to The Harvest Community is included here
